Wesley Snipes is free, poised for major comeback

After the critical and commercial failure of "Blade Trinity" and an increasing number of reports describing his difficult and eccentric behavior on set, Snipes was banished to the land of direct-to-video, headlining such cheapies as "7 Seconds" (2005), "The Marksman" (2005) and the appropriately titled "Hard Luck" (2006). His most recent projects include the Sundance mini-hit "Brooklyn's Finest" (2009) and "Game of Death" (2010), with the horror western "Gallowwalkers" set for some sort of release later this year.

Now that Snipes is out of prison, he may be poised for a major comeback, as he's rumored to be involved with the inevitable "The Expendables 3." Snipes certainly has plenty of time to do things like have meetings with Sylvester Stallone while he's under house arrest.

I wouldn't call "Blade Trinity" a commercial failure. The budget was $65 mil, the movie made over $128 mil.

I hope Wesley can make a comeback and get some good roles again. Wasnt it because of the way that he was acting on the set of Blade 3 that he went to straight to DVD status. Because it didnt flop and Wesley had enough of a track record that shouldnt have relegated him to DVD status. He did have a run from about 1990 to 2004 though so he didnt do to bad when you think about it.
