Wesley Snipes is a better actor than Denzel

I agree Denzel was great at Malcolm but pound for pound Snipes is a better actor, hes more versatile and has a better catalogue.

I somewhat agree, to a point.... Denzel's early work was great though. As time has passed, the roles he has taken have gotten worse. A white movie critic said (paraphrasing) that Denzel basically plays himself in every movie. Although what the critic said had racist undertones, he is accurate in that assessment. Denzel is for the ladies. That is the reason why he has been relevant up until this year. He has stopped giving a fukk about his appearance and his age and drinkng (allegedly) is catching up to him.

Wesley does the action movies that Denzel does kinda better, but a couple things has railroaded his success.

1) He is the one (allegedly) that beat Halle Berry partially deaf. Christopher Williams and David Justice has publically denied that they weren't the culprit. From logical deduction, people assume Wesley. Halle won't confirm or deny.

2) Wesley also shytted on Black Women in Ebony Magazine basically saying that he doesn't date black women. After that came out, his demand started slowing down. Producers & executives didn't want to take a chance becuase the same fan base that was supporting Denzel was lashing out at Wesley. This is a majority of the reason why Wesley has done a lot of action movies since 2000. Men don't care about an actor's dating life or preferences, and, men like action movies.


Not to hate Denzel or take away from his Oscar-winning performance from Training Day, but I think Wesley is a street dude who put in a masterful performance in New Jack City. Wesley>>>> Denzel in hood movies.

That was a horrible business decision, no matter how much he got paid. I also said that Denzel's early work is superior to Wesley's.... Other than Training Day, Man on Fire and Great Expectations, Denzel has done the same Man on Fire clone movies, done horribly. What his critics are saying about Denzel is pretty fair.

You can say the same about Wesley though too... What has he done besides Blade (which was decent until the abomination that was Blade:Trinity)?

Both actors have been doing stale roles. Jamie Foxx has had more diversity in his movies.
