Were We Supposed To Feel Sorry For The Seth Rollins Character Considering All He's Done?

These past few weeks Michael Cole via Vince on the headset has been trying to make us think Dean Ambrose is crazy for not wanting to trust Rollins again. Truthfully though, Ambrose shouldn't trust him because of his past dealings.

If we really examine the Seth Rollins character, we see that the only reason he switched sides was because Triple H, another heel turned on him. He never had a moment of enlightenment or a "come to Jesus" moment, he was just salty that Triple H chose another guy to be champion.

Am I missing something because throughout this whole "will they, won't they" storyline, I've been thinking that Ambrose was in the right the whole time. Also do you think they messed up by having Rollins turn face because of another heel rather than him making the decision on his own?

Yeah that's the big problem with his character rn but I think they're playing to it now with the storyline with Dean. I think we're supposed to acknowledge that Seth is highkey still a dikk and that Dean's reason for not trusting him is totally legit, people just want the Shield back. If they do end up turning Dean that'll definitely be his reason for doing it. The heels work best imo when what they're saying actually has truth to it. Like when Jericho turned on HBK.

BRUH!!!!

They should play Seth character like Dean and Roman They NEVER seeked redemption after all the WILD shyt they did when they were heels in the Shield. Michael Cole once asked Dean (during his face run) about it n he was like "I ain't sorry for nothing I did with the Shield."

Seth's character after the Triple H win has been wack in general its not surprising they wanna go a Shield Reunion route. It'd be great to see, but I highkey would love a Dean heel turn. Seth of course is better as a heel but if he's been betrayed by the biggest heel out there how do they find a way to generate heat for Seth? SO I guess we're getting babyface Seth for a while.

There's no need for this team up Seth is a Main eventer and Dean a lower midcarder

Seth should be at the top instead of the land of the forgotten

Had they made him a face when he first came back from that big injury of his, and then started pushing him as a genuine one from that point on, that would've served this storyline with Dean (as well as Seth's character in general) a great deal more.
This. Seth came back and said screw the fans despite all the get well cards and tweets. Why would the fans suddenly favor Seth when HHH eventually pedigreed him? Fans had more reason to cheer HHH than Seth during that feud :mjlol:

All they had to do was have Seth come back and admit he sold out and chose the wrong side after realizing HHH threw him to the side after the injury and was quickly looking to replace Seth as his man.

Eh it's not that deep. I mean you think Vince and co are putting that much thought into any of this :mjlol:

The WWE main product is pretty much devoid of any logical, smart, or consistent storytelling, been that way for a minute now

Only two endings of this story is the Shield gets back together complete with Roman or Dean turns heel. Seeing that there aren't any three man groups on RAW right now for them to battle, I'm going with the heel turn.

Its been over 3 years since he betrayed him/them and in wrestling years that's a while :manny:plus it ain't like Seth has never gotten his comeuppance for all that he's done.

Kayfabe wise, after Samoa Joe injured him is when he started feeling guilty of his past actions and admitted he was wrong.
