Tech evolves by doing things like this. Your critisims are in line with what people said about the original Galaxy Note series. In the not too distant future foldable phones will be the norm.

You guys should also check out rollable phone screens. That stuff looks futuristic

People said the same thing about tablets when they first came out. I don't see the point and it's just a giant phone. This is the next step from people carrying these giant 7 inch phones. Now you can fold it and have an ever larger screen than you could before.
