Silver is trying to create his own Champions League but it doesn't work if a)other basketball leagues aren't involved & b)Americans aren't familiar with soccer/futbol.

It really was just a way for the NBA to drive up the price for the TV deal for a special group of games that aren't just regular season games. I get people getting on Silver but if players weren't giving a shyt, then he had to do something to get some life back into reg season games.

Investing in Giddey long-term will hamstring the defensive potential of this team.

Billy has shown he can scheme a defense for Vuc that is good, but that's harder to do trying to hide Giddey. Defensively he's the opposite of what they have added to the team.

I like the ceiling and potential to Dalen's game as a 2-way versatile player more because he won't need the ball and he can defend already
