In the Silver Lining
In the last month my wrist was hurting like shiit. Now usually, I just give it time to heal, cause its just sore, but this time it lasted longer than usual, that I stopped any arm or wrist lifting for like two weeks.

Now I'm back doing ok, but any time my wrists starts feeling funny I get worried...
Should I have been wearing gloves???

Whats some good things to do/put on before, during, after lifting to prevent wrists injuries or any other injuries, besides just stretching, proper technique and waiting a few days between certain activities????

maybe a glucosamine supplement.

i also find that getting good sleep the night before helps A LOT.
also going very gradually when increasing the weight each session. i used to always hurt my wrists and knees back then cause i'd try to take shortcuts and increase to fast.so while my main muscles could take it (quads, glutes, hamstring, chest, etc) my smaller muscles didn't have time to adapt (around the knees and ankles, shoulders, wrists, lower back, etc) and i'd end up injured. ironically, instead of saving time, i'd end up losing time cause the small injuries would make me fall off the gym routine.

so if you're using great form (not bending your wrists, etc) then not increasing weight too fast, getting enough sleep and food, and maybe glucosamine could help.
