I want to slowly get more into calisthenics. I want a "transportable" (lack of a better word) dip station and a weighted workout vest, some workout gloves would also be cool, too.

Any recommendations?

Gloves are a bad idea. Your hands need to get used to rigor of hard workouts.

I would avoid the vest and go for chains and a dip belt. Mega 5/8. Pair of Chains

Here is a link to chains for lifting

In the Calesthetic pdf thread there are links to paralettes and there are dips on Amazon.

New York City. I mean Kansas.
"transportable" (lack of a better word)
there is a better word -- it's just portable :skip:

i can't suggest a good vest/gloves because i use hand me down shyt, but it gets the job done. and in that regard, i say buy whatever

hell i've even used a walker for a dip station. if you and your vest are under 300 it won't break

I bought a bariatric walker from a thrift store years ago.

Bariatric walkers are for obese people and are built more sturdy. Was able to use weight vest* on them without worrying about it collapsing. It was taller than a regular walker also, I'm tall so it worked out with my folding my legs.

*used a hiking backpack before I purchased legit weight vest

I thought there was a specific word for it.

Gloves aren’t bad lol.

Now if he said wrist wraps then I’d agree.

I don’t use gloves but if I was doing calisthenics outside on rough equipment I’m definitely using gloves.
