I liked them both but Spree At Last had me vibin more. His beat reminded me of some Kno from Cunninlynguists productions.

It's been a long time @Spree At Last The overall vibe of this beat is nice. I like the the drums a lot a lot. and the transitions within the beat.
Unknown hype had a nice vibe, but the overall mix took away from it.

I love both beats but I'm voting spree on this one.

I'm going with Spree here. Close call tho. Unknown Hype, I like your arrangement for the most part, maybe just a little swing on the drums or something to make it move a little more, not sure.

Spree's beats always take me to another place. Beautiful sample and drums to complement it.

Unknown's track was good; no criticisms, really. I was just vibing with Spree's more on this one.

Good battle, fellas.

too the people saying the mix what do you hear that could be mixed better
The clap and kick level don't match up I would bring the clap up to match the thump of the kick. Eq the middle high's of the clap and lower or cut the high frequency of the kick entirely. The synth that comes in doesn't fit with the surrounding elements (mainly the hook that synth that enters one minute in. the mallet percussion sound throughout the verse works well. But the chorus synth's frequencies and sound take away from it. The hi hat also needs a bit more eq its loudness takes away from the guitar rhythm you have going throughout the track.
Of course mixing is based on taste so this is just my 2 cents.I hope its constructive enough.

:patrice: went with Unknown Hype, shyt was dope as fukk to me, I was nodding through the whole thing, those melodies were plush. Real tough battle, Spree had the dungeon family vibe going which initially had me set vote wise, both beats took me to the same place. Could've went either way.

Man I hate having to pick a winner here :yeshrug:, both beats were dope as hell......................................

Ok, I gotta say the vocal cops put Spree's beat over the top. The way he used them shyts was just too cold!!!!

I loved Hypes beat though that ish had me bouncing all the way through & I loved the instrumentation.
