First Object Landed on Moon
First pictures of the Moon from its orbit
First space rover (Moon)
First Space Station (1971)
First Interplanetary Probe

They landed a stationary probing unit in Venus and took a picture before the weight of the atmosphere crushed it:

The landed the first probe on Mars (Late 60s/ Early 70s!!) and sent back pictures:

And we can't forget about the story of the forcing one of their cosmonauts on a suicide mission of LEO and the man's epic rant as he was dying in re-entry.
