We should have a thread for artists looking for beats/competitions

I think it would be awesome if we had a stickied thread where people just posted different online beat competitions, or if a artist is requesting beats on twitter or something, or just any online opportunities to get out there.

I also think we should atleast have a coli artist page on twitter where we post beats that we submit to be posted or just beats a lot of people like that someone from here made. I know theres a slight industry presence on this forum so maybe if we get enough fire on that page we can get some attention for the talent here. I know we talk about starting all types of initiatives to help out the artist community here, but this one is practical, helpful, and pretty simple, low risk.

anyone know where to find competitions an what not? Atleast we could give some pointers if we arent gonna make a thread for it. I know reverbnation has their competitions but i know there has to be some blog or something that keeps up with stuff like this

yea I did one of those but I don't like how you have to pay. I think the last winner was lunice and hes very well known so idk if id do that regularly jus because there might be some favoritism (and some dudes are gonna have professional mixes). But ill check out instagram I haven't really gotten into that site yet
