I need to read her book on the Biafra War it sounded real interesting when she talked about it. I heard her talkin about this shyt on NPR, lol feminism is ok but it feels so much like it's being pushed amongst the Black community as a means for more division. Yet on the other hand, even in those groups like the BPP there was sexism practiced. I suppose if you have caveman views on women in 2014 you should be encouraged to embrace feminism.

That's not what feminism means, it's just been twisted by the people who have a vested interest in gender equality not being a thing. There's also a lot of misconceptions that get passed off as truths.

Don't get me wrong, there are problems with feminism but like anything, those problems need to be addressed and reformed.
