They sign Trai Turner for the same reason and his spot isn't guaranteed.

Jimmy is a Saints legend but come on mans at the end of his career, he has to earn his spot.

not at all. I know Jimmy is a shell of himself. But the Saints gotta have an obvious plan for him if they bought him in. They kept mentioning him mentoring the young TEs too. Feels like he's gonna play the Garrett Temple role on our team...only he can actually be of use for a few games.
