This is pretty significant if they tested positive. They would be out next week.
The NFL is hilariously stupid for not bubbling up for the playoffs. Payton needs to rent out the hotel again and ask the team nicely (force) them to bubble up for one month. One month won't kill them.
But if we wanna wait with abated breath everyday starting Monday praying we don't land a significant player on the COVID list, more power to the team/NFL.

Praying it is but this needs to be a red flag. Unless Payton is stressing to the players to not go anywhere next month and to have no guests over (which is impossible, the players have been having guests and going out all year, 100% of them are not going to suddenly stop), I guarantee we will lose someone significant before a playoff game. And this is all pretty avoidable because the NBA laid the blueprint and the NBA did it for MONTHS. The NFL would only need to have teams rent out a hotel for ONE month, but that's just too much common sense.
