In this promo: Foley talked about his brief return as WWF Commissioner, and made a bunch of title unification matches for Survivor Series. He also heavily criticized the the direction the company was going in and acknowledged that whether Team WWF or Team Alliance won, he was basically out of a job either way (he did one final segment the next night and was “written out”)

Do you remember this promo? This shoot and Heyman’s shoot both happened the same week, but Heyman’s is more remembered (Paul was spitting that ether )

Yeap... the one that stood out the most was "if you're not holding some kind of title, something must be wrong with you" because they were tossing all those belts around every other show, it was damn near confusing. It's probably part of why now, everybody think EVERYBODY deserves to win a belt. All that title-swapping and it didn't do much to get anyone over. There's like 10 different titles goin' around and a bunch of two week reigns... I kinda started losing interest until after the Invasion shyt was over. It almost instantly got better as soon as they wrapped that shyt up.
