Almost forgot about this gem but someone brought it up in another thread and reminded me... Probably the ONLY movie I've seen in my adult life that prevented me from having a good nights sleep.

the gym scene was just...man, I don't know. I felt so uneasy after watching this shyt..

for the people who've seen it, do ya'll agree? I made my ex watch it and she literally cried out of fear. Its scarier than any horror movie could even attempt to be..

That shyt was disturbing. Made me wonder how many creepy ass kids actually turn out like this.

That little kid was a hell of an actor. Dude put on an excellent performance. Made me feel real uncomfortable. Lol @ him shytting his pants on purpose

I just watched the trailer off the strength of this post and it looked like Garbage. :rudy:

Trailer doesn't give too much away. Film is great. Up there with Dogtooth and Martyrs as one of the most disturbing films in the last few or so years.

Man this movie was crazy...Funny thing is, I saw it on a whim. Me and my girl were sitting looking for SOMETHING to watch, lo and behold we looking at on demand movies and this one is on Starz for the month. I turn it on and was happy I did (just like Young Adult lol)

First off, the mother in that movie was crazy, she played that part to a tee. I mean she made you WANT to feel sorry for her, then you look and say, nah she wouldn't want me to feel sorry for her. The son was wild and it was funny seeing the dad play a serious role, I'm used to him being lame ass Will Ferrells sidekick.

The boo booing in the pants part was good. The scenes where the mother is "raising" the boy but Kevin just cries in his mothers arms. Their symbiotic relationship was creppy, sad, and but genuine as well. I knew he'd just leave his mom, he fed off giving her pain. I thought that car scene was the most telling of the movie. When she wanted to go to the store but Kevin rubbed his healed wound and said NO. Also, when they got back Kevin looking at his mom all mad but soon as dad came in he lit up

What a sad, dark and twisted movie, but it was good enough to make me watch it two more times, to understand the movie and the mother-son relationship they had.

I saw this movie a while ago, and while it was meant to be "disturbing" I did not find it scary at all. I thought the insight into their (mother/son) relationship and the manipulation involved was telling about many sociopaths. Good movie all in all.
