Like you can't import an mp3 into maschine software and chop it up? I can see how that would be an inconvenience, but other than quickly converting an mp3 to wave does maschine software have like a line in record mode? Where you could either play what samples you want off YouTube or Windows Media player, or whatever even through auxiliary like sampling something off your phone that it could get it?
Wanted to hear more of that Mickey Katz, I think there is probably some nice little stabs of music sprinkled throughout that shyt.

i know its mass appeal's idea (i'm trying to reach out to them) but i want to do more of these with Mass Appeal hopefully, to showcase more regional producers in addition to the names they usually get.

you can do that using this program called soundflower on the mac
I dont use it tho I just convert my mp3 to waves....i'm on the og maschine tho not sure if the new ones can play mp3s

either way if you convert to wavs you should be straight right? i use FL so i sample from mp3s, but when i find something i really wanna work with, ill buy the actual song in the highest quality i can and convert
