We know Vince is delusional, so what's he thinking right now?

We all know Vince thinks no one can touch the WWE, so what's he thinking right now?

To me, going to the Brock Lesnar well again is going to ultimately backfire and screams of desperation. At this point, Vince doesn't have it in him to put up a fight like the attitude era, and the company itself is hampered by being public which limits content.

You let all these guys go and keep getting finessed by Lesnar who is no doubt costing even more money, and a guy Nick Khan who's going to do

I still don't fully believe in AEWs storylines and character development, BUT they have the momentum and we know fans are fickle. WCW didn't have great writing and they almost put wwe out of biz.

WWE isn't in big trouble yet, but the Becky, Brock and Goldberg stuff are bad signs.

Vince is who he is. He’s gonna go to his grave running things how he sees fit. Can’t blame him because he owns the company. Gonna be interesting to see what direction the company goes in when hes no longer there.

Seems like they’re content to kick the “out product is largely stale” can down the road for a bit and let the cards fall where they fall.

They’re too big to fail and are making money hand over fist despite their best efforts to not.

Unfortunately it leads to Vince feeling no pressure or incentive to innovate outside of Mania season

The return to the road is really the only thing that made them dig in the nostalgia bag and pull out a few stops for Summerslam

there’s no one left to parade around from the attitude era and the ruthless aggression era guys are either aging out or onto other things so they’re gonna lose that nostalgia Uno card

You answered your own question. He thinks no one can touch them. Business is cyclical. Their hype will fade out. They all will come back. It's a matter of time.

Attitude Era is not coming back. We are living in pussified cancel culture TV era where that shyt wouldn't fly in the first episode already. Plus there is no talent anymore on the Steve Austin/The Rock level.

What we have right now is WWE on auto pilot. Same old recycled gimmicks and old wrestlers coming back to steal the spotlight.

I've already accepted the fact that no matter what happens, he always does some shyt to pull everyone back in.

Ehh. The Brock being a monster suplex machine stuff worked almost 10 yrs ago. "Suplex City" isn't cool anymore.

The best thing Vince could do is put the belt on guys fans want. Put it on Big E. Or let Lashley be a legit monster instead of needing mvp to skate by every week. Roman is Roman which is a great, but there's another level of heel stardom he can reach.

You say that like AEW don't have a whole gang of old MFs :mjlol:

Philbert is a 40 something and Sting and Jeriflab were there for the original Monday Night Wars :flabbynsick:

True

But i post on an OU football board and someone made an aew thread yesterday morning and you wouldn't believe how many ppl were saying they haven't watched wrestling since WCW, but are now watching aew and ordering the ppv.

Vince did a terrible job leaving those fans in the cold.

It’s HHH fault for not stopping AEW and he’s getting his affairs in order to do what he’s always done. Raid AEW talent.
