Outside of today and against the Mets, he's been good though. :why:

He hasn't been an issue in the pitching department.
:gucci: We haven't been watching the same Paxton.

Dude is the definition of inconsistent. His ERA this month was almost 6 BEFORE today's start.

He ain't Sonny Gray, but he's been a disappointment. He can't live off that Red Sox game forever

Yup. He's been inconsistent. The hope is that he brings it for the playoffs.

Don't Believe the Hype
Can someone, please, explain this to me? Clearly, I'm too much of a f*cking dope to understand this phenomenon of athletes, with state-of-the-art physical training, medicinal sciences, and nutrition at their fingertips, built with the structural integrity of damp papier-mâché.

If I were a $300M+ professional athlete, I'd be high-key embarrassed / ashamed.

I mentioned this game and the Mets game which was this month as well. Aside of those two starts his ERA is in the low 3's.

He has not been inconsistent. You can say injury prone and inability of going deep into games but inconsistent outside of those starts..nah.

We can withstand losing Stanton for a while since Edwin and Voit are playing pretty well still

Lemehaieu is so fukking good for us, we've needed people that can hit for average forever and now him, gregorious, gleyber, judge, and urshela can all do that. Gary hitting 260+ with league leading power numbers is huge for the lineup.

Bullpen will be great if dellins plays well when he returns, only holder is awful. Ottavino was a great addition. Chapman is as good and as tested as any closer in the league.

One month of high level play and I think we put the division away early

Paxton giving me them old AJ Burnett vibes. Not feeling him at all.

I really hope Cash pull a jooks and swap Frazier for a real arm.

I'd love to see CC get the start and in the close out game for #28.
If it happens in the Bronx too :to:. I think that’d be my all time favorite sports moment.

Simple. There's no scientific method that ensures your ligaments can be as brolic as your muscles.
