Stan deserves our gratitude. This guy either created, or helped push so much of the comic culture that pretty much runs the film industry today. And he didn't really start cooking until he was almost 40. That's when most people quit

Stan Lee was a legendary comic book writer, editor, and publisher who co-created some of the most iconic characters in the history of comic books, including Spider-Man, X-Men, Iron Man, the Hulk, the Fantastic Four, and many others. He revolutionized the comic book industry in the 1960s by introducing complex characters with relatable human flaws and a sense of moral ambiguity, which made them more relatable to readers.

Lee's contributions to the comic book industry were not just limited to creating iconic characters. He also played a key role in promoting comics as a legitimate form of literature and helped to break down the stigma associated with reading comics. He was a masterful storyteller who used his platform to address important social issues, such as racism, prejudice, and social inequality.

Beyond his work in comics, Lee was also a cultural icon who inspired generations of fans and creators. He made numerous cameo appearances in Marvel movies, further cementing his legacy in popular culture. He was also a beloved figure who used his platform to spread positivity and encourage creativity, making him an inspiration to millions of people around the world.

Overall, Stan Lee's contributions to the comic book industry and popular culture cannot be overstated. He was a creative genius who helped to redefine the medium of comics and inspire generations of fans and creators. His legacy will continue to live on for many years to come.
