WCW Theme Vs WWF/E Theme

My bad if this thread has been made before but I'm going through Nitro and He Who Must Not Be Named showed up and I was reminded how much I loved his WCW theme.



But his WWF/E theme was tough too



So the thread is simple: Who did it better? For guys who were in both feds, when did they have the better music?

WCW was kind of hit and miss. They had good themes but the WWE always seemed more professional and crisp, in particular when Johnston was the only producer.

Better themes in the WWE/WWF:
Bret Hart, Hulk Hogan, Rick Rude

Better themes in WCW:
DDP, Jeff Jarrett, Eddie, Malenko, Rey Mysterio, Benoit, Piper

WCW had overall shytty themes. WWF even the jobbers had something that at least stood out. WCW was cheap remakes and/or shyt they just licensed. For every Wolfpack there's like ten themes that no one really remembers.

But then you have bubble guys like Hall who has Razor's theme and the NWO theme. How can you choose?


WWF's random mid card themes in 1997 and 1998 were far, far more generic and forgettable than WCW's stock library that they'd pick from. Some of the shyt Johnston was putting out during the AE literally bass and guitar doing the same riff over a 4/4 drum beat looped for 40 seconds. At least WCW had a lot of those "wtf is that Jerry Flynn coming out to a bootleg Boston song?!?" moments.

I'd go with the razor theme because the nwo theme is a group thing. So for me razors theme is all his. Although with Nash clearly the nwo or Wolfpac music is much much better than his diesel music
