WCW crowds appreciation thread

I was always a huge WWF mark and whenever I would flip channels at first I didn't wanna admit how LIVE WCW just seemed at the time. Maybe it was the lighting or the cameras....but WCW crowds always seemed more pumped than WWF crowds. Throwing trash and all kinds of sh1t...




case in point somebody show me a clip of a WWF crowd this live?

I'm sure they're clips out there but nothing comes to mind off top...


remember when Hogan turned heel? Crowd was so blown!!

throwing drinks and anything they could find....the heat was incredible...WCW crowds were more organic by far imo as far as the monday night wars.

Yeah WCW had the Nitro parties etc, they did a GREAT job of making wrestling seem cool in the late 90's. Those lil towns got just as wild as big cities during the nWo era



Out of all the Nitro's I attended I can only think of one where I didn't have to bob and weave at the end to avoid flying debri and shyt.

LOL okay compare that to stonecold's and rock's pops in the same years..NO comparison. And they no sold the hell out of the vaunted midcard we now cherish in retrospect.

Outside of a highspot, a eddy vs. jericho would get crickets from them good ol boy crowds

Not for Mysterio though..they got louder lierally every week for Mysterio..no one got more over by ring work than Rey in that era.
