Season 3 is almost over, no one cares about Lena Dunham getting naked on her own show anymore.

Season 3 is almost over, no one cares about Lena Dunham getting naked on her own show anymore.

The show sucks with no redeeming value, nothing about the show is entertaining.

People just want to see over pampered snubs do bad things for absolutely no reason, that's not good tv to me.

The show is about character and their development and their individual and overlapping arcs. It's not preoccupied with plot or traditional drama beats that we usually see in shows. Because it's mainly focused on character arc it resonates with a lot of people.

And they're not really over pampered if you think about it. The only character that was actually freeloading for any significant time was Adam who was left to his own devices in New York as his grandma sent him a monthly allowance to live on. Hannah and Marnie both worked at Ray's coffee shop for some time, Ray is a 30-something dude who manages a coffee shop, Marnie gets fired from her job as an assistant at an art gallery and becomes a hostess/server/coffee shop barista, Shosh is in college and Jessa basically lives off Shosh and is a drug addict.

And them being terrible people is perhaps a commentary on that particular generation eh? The show touches on many things that people that age can relate to or throws those things back into those same faces in a critical manner.

And then there's the depiction of sex in the show that is a change from the way sex is generally depicted on television shows and the fact that the show is actually sorta funny...but those are for another day, another post.

I recently got into this show. I like it, but I agree. that bytch hannah need to keep her clothes on. and she is the main one getting naked on that joint. the two cleanest hoes, shosh, and marney refuse to get naked too :rose:
