He's a wrestling fan too so he bought it and we spent July 4th watching it. We decided to get drunk and watch it to prepare for the worst. It was good! ...Surprisingly!
Production values are good for a straight to video movie. Randy Orton isn't the best actor but he tries and I think this translates on screen. The dialogue in the early portion of the film felt really forced and cheesy and feels like a high school play in terms of acting and screen writing, but once it gets into its groove it's just great moment after moment. The only major problem I think the film has is the ending - it's quite abrupt - and the fact I wanted Randy to bust out an RKO and he didn't.
All in all, I'd say watch it!
