Jada dissed Pac when they were growing up together. But when he became a big star the roles reversed. He dissed her and felt she was too "free and loose" even though he still had feelings for her. Both Pac and Will got mad women but the women they idealized thought they were too “nice”. Peppa from Salt & Peppa said that Will Smith was in love with her and was courting her HARD but he treated her with too much respect and she wanted a thug so she ended up with Treach who, according to her, proceeded to beat the ever loving shyt out of her during the majority of they’re marriage.

Pac more than likely had romantic feelings for Jada but due to them being kids she probably friend zoned him because he wasn’t “cool” like that. Then he blows up to being the biggest rap star on the Planet and he’s got mad women so the tables turned. Pac has his pick of the litter and more than likely wanted Jada to stay in the “kid sister” role in order to retain the friendship.

I’m certain Jada more than likely preferred Will in the 90’s but when Pac died, the trauma of losing her close childhood friend, mixed with the unrequited “what if” feelings led her to over romanticize them and they’re connection. When her and Will started having issues I could see her starting to resent him on some “Pac would NEVER” bullshyt which would of course lead to Will feeling some type of way.


Where the line should have been drawn was when Jada was pushing that Pac worship into Will’s kids. Thats flagrant. There is NO reason why Will’s prepubescent daughter should be writing letters to any dead man thats not her uncle or grandfather begging for him to come back to life for her mother to be “happy”. Will should’ve shut ALL of that down
