Red was my favorite MC after the first album, but I was already a huge fan after hearing him on EPMD's Business as Usual. Around '91-'92, My favorite MC's were Cube, Redman and then Nas and B.I.G. later on. Redman's always been in my Top 10 all-time though. Dude's first three albums are ridiculously classic. You don’t see a lot of solo MC's who are able to drop three classics in a row like that. He was also bodying every single feature he was on from '90 to like '98. Criminally underrated, but one of the most consistent dudes we've ever seen in the culture.

Yeah it wad redman, paris and cube as the top 3 early 90s

Changed when wu and BIG etc came about

Dare iz a darkside blew my mind though, i didnt even really know what i was listening to..just knew tracks like Green Island were what i wanted from music

Yep didnt fall out of it until the blackout albums n he got goofy

Stil in my top 10 til this day

They first east coast artist I followed without the help of a screwtape

The first Blackout album is classic

They even got a horrorcore joint on there (cereal killer)
