Brehs I've been watching the daily marathons of Quantum Leap on G4 (cause basically that's the only thing left on this network) and I admit I really didn't pay that much attention to this show growing up but now watching it I constantly have the Wee-Bay face....

he's a time traveler

he's always going to random places

he's always helping people out and righting wrongs

he's got a companion with him

Was this supposed to be the American version of Doctor Who?

I love quantum leap, i thought G4 tv was suppose to change to some other channel last month, they keep showing commercials for it

In a word...no.
Aside from the time travel aspect there is nothing else that ties the two shows together.
