Was Noreage really that bad?

I've been listening to him all weekend, and I don't know if it's the nostalgia kicking in but I was feeling his shyt. The thing is I remember everybody, even myself, always shyttin' on him saying his music was wack and couldn't rap. I don't know, has the bar been lowered so far that his music is acceptable now or were we all followers going with the popular opinion at the time? Is it because he's part of my era? What's the verdict.

On the War Report he was pretty sick.. I think because Tragedy Wrote alot of his Rhymes?

But all his Solo's he def sucked.... Although he had hits, lyrically Nore was

N.O.R.E. is a classic album in my book, maybe not everyone elses. War Report is not even a debate. One of the greatest New York rap albums of the 90's.

The Reunion was very good also.

i dont think he ever was lyrical, i think trag helped him alot wit his barz on war report. you can see the change on nore.

nore was just unorthodox had his own style, he was thugged out with a comedic delivery at the same time. i was listening to banned tv this mourning. nikkka said

Much like Prodigy, Noreaga started out great. War Report 1 and 2 were awesome...

...then over time he started to suck, and gained a ton of weight
