Eastside Get The Money
Veteran
So, I'm a recent college grad with no luck getting any type a job. After months of searching I finally got a job at Dunhams making minimun wage
So I've been there about 3 weeks (none of my managers liked me, I think they were jealous because I was just using this job to get by and they were stuck )
Back to the story though. About an hour before closing it's slow so me and my co-workers (3 white folks) are just chatting it up at the front. Then we see these two about 18 year old black kids start walking to the store. Immediately everybody's like "we know what they're here for" "they look so ghetto" "everybody get to your post so we can watch them" like I'm just not there . But i play it cool
When they finally enter the store my manager off rip says "you need to go back there and watch them"
I'm like I'm not gonna watch them any differently than anyone else, meanwhile two white boys the same age come in and are just roaming the store could have robbed us blind.
My manager is watching them like a hawk and is making me go up to them every 2 minutes like they're on probation on something
The boys bought like $200 worth of stuff and I was gonna let everything pass (cacs being cacs right?). Then as they were leaving one of the employees set off the sensor to make it look like they stole something
So my manager immediately runs to stop them, note that when something usually goes off it's not even a big deal like "sir can I see if I left a sensor on?", this bytch starts to take the factory made plastic off, like these boys had time to open the plastic, steal something, then put the plastic back on perfectly while everybody in the store was watching them
After that I threw my name tag at her and said I quit, which brought the "It wasn't even like that" white girl statement.
My moms said I was right for standing what I believe it, but pops said I can't change the world and just hurt myself.
Was I right or wrong brehs?
