I'm watching Season 3 episode 11 of BB when Walt goes to Gus' house. When Walt enters I notice a kids table and a kids toy in Gus' living room. Was Gus married? Did he have kids? If so where are they?
i don't think i've seen a single episode since the series ended so i'm just going off memory.
he said he was married at some point i believe. his gay lover was the other chicken guy though which is why he had personal beef with the mexican cartel that killed him and especially wheelchair tio. i'm guessing his marriage was for appearances. just like the way he dressed like a cornball fried chicken fast food restaurant manager. had to hide in plain sight and have no one interested in his personal life. i think he initially liked walter for this reason because he too was hiding in plain sight at first.
he probably sent his family out to see a movie or some shyt because he was inviting a sociopathic meth cook over for dinner to discuss business.
It's interesting because even when he is making dinner for Walt he says the kids won't eat what he's cooking. Strange his family was never mentioned after he got killed. Or ever seen. I know it was speculated he was gay with his boy who got killed. But was that ever confirmed? I thought Gilligan said they were just friends?
Or are the kids' toys and tale of him having a family just a clever ruse for Walter?
I didn't say for sure Gus was gay. Lots of people inferred he was because we saw how torn up he was about his friend getting killed. If I remember correctly, Gilligan said Gus was NOT gay. I'm not sure if he really had a family or not though.
Theres speculation that he was gay but if someone killed your best friend in front of u to send a message wouldnt u be upset and want revenge... That goes double if you're a ruthless kingpin
