was ghost dog ever a popular movie?

I just recently heard of this movie and watched it. No one ever mentions it but it got good reviews. I'm guessing it wasn't that big when it came out.

No. It was an indy film. Made 9 million on a 2 million budget,so it was successful just not popular.


Great film though. One of my favorites.

The comedy with the old mafia guys was on another level.
