Was Austin vs Rikishi the most weird and forced feud?

Rikishi had no business feuding with Austin . I still dont feel like it thurst Rikishi into main event status

Probably the most forced feud of all time..tell me im not the only one who thinks that. My last thread on here got me negged to bolivia lets see what TSC thinks of this topic

Stupid storyline where hhh was revealed to be the one behind it all, then a few months later have him be tag team champs with austin

If he was supposed to be that, he should've had the roster in fear [agree his attire should've changed too] and on top of all that...Austin returned and squashed him in their ppv match

we did a watch party a few months back for a random Nitro and i remember laughing my ass off cause they had multiple segments with Hogan running around backstage pissed off looking for Kidman

I don't know about a few months ago but back when they both happened Austin vs Rikishi was weirder.

This subject I land on both sides of the coin:

Pros:
*It was an opportunity to make a brand new main eventer out of Rikishi
*It definitely was a swerve with the reveal that no one saw coming
*Storyline wise him doing it for The Rock and his Samoan Family made sense
*It was a chance to have a new guy to mix it up with the main eventers they had making new match-ups
*Badass new theme music

Cons:
*Nobody wanted to see a heel Rikishi
*Pretty much killed his awesome babyface run and he could never go back to that like he had it before
*The storyline was ruined when they had HHH take overall credit for Rikishi running over Austin demoting Rikishi from loner threat to pawn
*No memorable matches or moments other than Austin being the piss out of him with his truck and Taker throwing his big ass off the top of the Hell In a Cell

Overall I felt they should have choose somebody else, Rikishi was the wrong choice for this storyline.
