Warnock vs. Walker: Senate runoff election Thread

Raphael Warnock (D) incumbent vs. Herschel Walker (R).

I don't have to tell y'all what time Walker is on and how terrible of a candidate he is or even more, how terrible he would be for people of Georgia and even more, the rest of the nation. Even more, how terrible he would be for Black people everywhere. I don't often go out of my way or get alarmed over politics but this is an important one and we really need to keep CTE Walker as far away from the senate as often as he is away from the truth.

In the end, Warnock is a much better candidate. He's not perfect or blameless, I won't act like he is but he's much better than Walker by a long-shot and gives Black people a fighting chance.

The election is open to any Georgia voter who registered before the Nov. 7 cutoff — even if you didn't vote in the on Nov. 8. You can always check your voter status on the secretary of state's website.

Early voting begins Monday, Nov. 28 and runoff election day will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 6.

***Please vote for Warnock brehs and brehettes and get anyone you know who can vote to vote Warnock as well. Thanks. ***

The link below has more information on how to do absentee voting as well.

***ABSENTEE VOTING: A How-To***

Early voting begins Monday, Nov. 28
and runoff election day will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 6.

If you are a resident in Georgia and a registered voter in the state, you can participate in early voting for the runoff election.

You can request an absentee ballot online, by emailing your county board of registrars office, by mail, by fax or in person. The process for any of these options starts with downloading and printing the absentee ballot application.

To complete the process by email, complete the absentee ballot application and provide contact information under "voter details." Enter your Georgia driver's license number or state ID and scan a digital copy of it. Email the application and copy of ID to your local county board of registrars office.

To mail or fax the application and copy of identification, look up your county board of registrars office contact information online. To submit the information in person, fill out the downloaded application and bring acceptable photo identification to your county board of registrars office.

If you requested an absentee ballot for the initial election and checked that you are elderly, disabled or voting from overseas, you should automatically receive a ballot for this election as well.

The election is open to any Georgia voter who registered before the Nov. 7 cutoff — even if you didn't vote in the on Nov. 8. You can always check your voter status on the secretary of state's website

As for "both sides", I'm not going to bash y'all. I'm not going to lecture you and say your concerns aren't important because in all honesty, they are important. Your concerns are very important. Having talked with some of y'all, I know a decent number of y'all are good people who simply want better for their families and people and have your own idea of going about it and I can respect that. I do think though that this is one instance where we as a people should be wary of our choices. I don't think Walker is good for anyone aside for those that seek to obstruct and oppress us.

Someone like Walker is overall, a negative for most , if not damn near all parties involved. Goodness knows the dems are far from perfect but in this instance, at the very worst, if you see the dems as an enemy, they are an enemy that, at worst, will annoy you instead of one that will more than likely try and end you as the republicans have made certain of. I hate to be like this and I avoid outright telling people who they should vote for but I do think Warnock is the better, if not, least destructive option.

Every black person should vote in this, its crucial and who ever wins gets the full six year term. Warnock is a solid brother who actively fought for black farmers in congress to get debt relief, it passed but one of trumps federalist society right wing judges blocked it, warnock will allow biden to confirm more black judges as well too, he is a solid dude, and folks need to vote
