Ward may sign 3 fight deal with HBO

Roc Nation Sports, Cotto's promoter, continues to work on hammering out a deal that would see super middleweight champion Andre Ward (28-0, 15 KOs) appear in the co-feature in a light heavyweight fight. If the deal is finalized, it will mark the start of a three-fight contract between Ward and HBO.

One of the more interesting aspects is that it would be a LH fight.

He said in his chat that he would be a bit surprised if Ward went back down to 168. He thinks he moves up for the time being.

Would love to see Ward vs. Kovalev one dy. They were saying maybe late 2016. This would give Ward this fight and probably one more at LH before Kovalev.

HBO isn't pushing to cash out one of their 'new stars' who they barely have to pay (kkkov). Maybe the 3rd fight of the deal. Ward signing to Roc is looking like a good ass move, especially if he can get his old exclusive HBO contact.
