are you the rapper, producer, or both? I liked the beat from the gate; that sh*t knock. However, once the rapping begins, there is too much compression or something that reduces the quality of the mix. Also, the vocals are too loud - let the beat breath, fam.
I think your wifey and seed need to sleep in more often. This track is as cinematic journey of epic proportions. The changes in this beat are so damn mean. The only problem is that I listened to this beat on my iPad with no headphones and am afraid I'd like it even more if I bumped it on a real stereo. From the gate I was feeling the sample. Then you matched the snare perfectly with that reverb to continue with that "dream state" feeling. I think the mix could use just a bit of help. The thing is, sometimes when you try to build a certain ambiance with reverbs and airy production, it can get a bit cluttered, blended. But, this works. Also feeling the vocals in the pre-chorus and hook. This is ill.
