At Wandavison got heat because it threw off the spoiler culture and nobody was able to guess most of the plot twists.


As great as the Skywalker reveal was, a lot of people speculated creating rumors that by the time he was revealed, it wasn’t a surprise to a lot of people. Imagine if social media was around when empire strikes back was getting made. There would’ve been a hundred spoiler posts about how Luke was Vaders son and who his sister was.



it also in a way diminishes the overall product as studios will cut scenes, and alter trailers just to keep people guessing.

it depends on how much comic knowledge you got. My FB timeline used to be littered with "Im being vague tho" ass spoilers cause nikkas don't know how to shut up.
