Hamada will focus on Warners' slate of upcoming films bases on superheroes and villains, as well as titles based on other characters and other stories also licensed from DC. He will work closely with Geoff Johns, the president and chief creative officer of DC Entertainment who worked side-by-side with Berg, while also drawing resources from both Warners and New Line.

So he's basically replacing Berg. I wonder how he feels about comic books and DC characters specifically. Is he familiar or just relying on Johns expertise?
He's good with genre material, so that's a plus. And the movies he oversaw were hits. I don't think his familiarity with comics is important, Johns is there for that insight. It's his keen eye for storytelling that's important. Nolan wasn't a comic book head.

Doubt it since the guy who hired him at New Line is the President of WB now. He also has Wan in his corner for leverage, his situation is better than Berg who had no producing credits to his name
