Wale Folarin. Why? Over the last few years When you go out, you hear this dude making music people can enjoy from the lounges, to the kick backs to the clubs and everything in between. He was early on the Afrobeats and seems to be willing to take more risks to make actual songs.
Cole has definitely improved in the last 3-4 years and has become much more digestible IMO. However, song-wise Cole still has much farther to go. He has gotten better at rapping. For sure. But wale just still has him beat in that special song and moment making category.
