Wale has given Future his flowers, crowning the trap titan a top 10 rapper of all time.

The D.C. rapper appears to be a fan of Hendrix’s latest effort Mixtape Pluto as he took to X (formerly Twitter) on Monday (September 30) to heap high praise on the Freebandz boss.

“Future means so much to Hiphop. A top ten. Im not debating that one,” he wrote.

Wale’s opinion appeared to ruffle feathers among those who weren’t as enthusiastic about Future’s ranking among rap’s all-time greats, but he refused to back down.

In a second post, he added: “I got some folks fired up today … I seen.. excuse me for havin a diverse palette … art is subjective. Im listening to The Beach Boys right now and then Devin the dude. Yall like what yall liked…see yall on the road [blue heart emoji, moon emoji].”
