Waking up with knots/stiffness in traps....pain while lifting :mjcry:

My pillow/bed is trash so I know I have to fix that.

But what type of stretches/rehab you guys/gals do for stiffness/knots in your shoulder/upper back/neck area? Sometimes I wake up (like today) and I can't move my head to one side without it being painful.

I got a back hook massager for self release, it works somewhat to break up the knots. I gotta get on that deep tissue massage wave as well.

I get knots in my back every week.

To deal with it I get a deep tissue massage every Thursday. My masseuse use to work for the redskins.
