I'm late to the game on these. I was looking for a media player to connect to my car nav/dvd unit. These come with everything: Remote, HDMI 2.0, ethernet port, 2 usb ports, 1 microsd slot, 1 a/v connection, and the 5v/2amp power plug. A wireless/BT mouse and keyboard can be connect via USB if you wanted to use the box with your tv.
It is very small at 4.1" x 4.1" x 0.7" .
My Alpine has an HDMI input in the rear, only resolution it supports is 480p. I tried a few media boxes, this one was the only one that supported that low of a resolution. Runs a version of Qodi for a media app and can run anything available from the Play store. You can power it off of a car usb charger with the right plug adapter. For me it works out with the ability to play FLAC and MP4 files digitally through the headunit.
