As a man who's been to Russia and see how they interact with Bears, this is more common than you think. Plus Bears (from what I've heard, only been next to 2 in my life) are pretty chill once you either feed them or allow them to go look for food. These Eastern European cats live happily next door to these creatures so what's shocking to us, is an every day occurence, especially in the rural areas. The only problem that's gonna be created is that once you feed them, they come back looking for more, so you've basically put him/her on a routine that you need to keep if you want to keep the peace.
