By "martial arts" sim I mean the closest game to realistic Martial arts fighting combat AKA the closest we'd get to an actual Bruce Lee/Jackie Chan/Jet Li/Donny Yen fighting scene.(yeah, there are a couple insane combos, juggles but its not as outrageous as other games) I don't know what it is but there is something about Tekken 6's hud that I cannot stand, its too damn cluttered and feels like you're in training mode even when you're doing an online or verses match.
Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, King of Fighters and Marvel vs Capcom are all fun but in an traditional arcadey video game way. Soul Caliber puts more emphasis on weapon combat so I won't compare it to the rest. UFC and MMA games are excluded also.
VF started it, then Tekken stole its crown during the PS1/PS2 era IMO. VF took back the crown this gen tho
Agree?
