Last night on Smackdown, the quarterfinals for the ongoing King of the Ring tournament wrapped up with two somewhat surprising results as Elias defeated Ali and Chad Gable beat Andrade. Gable and Elias advance to the semi-finals to take place on next week's show with the winner moving on to face the winner of the match between Baron Corbin, Samoa Joe and Ricochet.
-- WWE also officially added another match to the upcoming Clash of Champions PPV which is scheduled for September 15 in Charlotte, NC. Roman Reigns will take on Rowan in a one-on-one singles match, rather than Daniel Bryan was previously speculated. Here is the current card for the PPV with the total matches standing at ten:
