Are you curious how the plot unfolds for Death in the upcoming multiplatform, apocalyptic action game, DarkSiders II? Well, Vigil Games gives a brief rundown of Death's role in the story-arc as well as how it all ties in with what started with War.
The game is shaping up to be really radical and I'm totally digging the direction Vigil went with this game. The not-so-black-and-white moral gauges and the unclear direction of the whole apocalypse makes it a very interesting tale to tell and I'm glad Vigil is telling it, because I can easily imagine a lot of other studios copping out and going the easy route with a franchise like this.
You can check out and see how it all comes together, without spoiling anything of course, in the brief story trailer below.
DarkSiders II was recently delayed from it's early summer release and pushed back to August so that Vigil would have time to iron out all the kinks and make it the best possible game that they could.
Despite THQ's financial woes, a lot of people are banking on DarkSiders as being the dark horse of the summer and potentially helping pull the company out of their money lull.
You can look for DarkSiders II to launch on August 21st for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. For further information on the game or the chance to pre-order, feel free to pay a visit to the Official Website.
