The NBA needs to hire you to be their Steve Sabol

We don't know enough about pre-1980s pro bball
the NBA has done a terrible job at talking about its history. Probably the worst of the major sports leagues in America (including college sports).

another great video, thanks man

what kills me is that you dont see any of the athleticism these players had. They make it seem like all of these guys were little crafty, floor players when it was the opposite.

The music sucks too.

You contrast that with NFL films from that era, and its night and day. NFL films show the power and physicality of the league back then and it makes you appreciate those players.

Damn he was strong over the ball. Reminds me of bron. Strong right hand dribbler, great passer, and excellent finisher around the basket.

the Wilt video they did is even worse because they call it "Ultimate" and it has a sh*tload of views... this what most casual fans think of when u talk bout Wilt Chamberlain:

Another slow moving dinosaur video...

that sh*t is downright disrespectful to Wilt :pacspit: they really need to step it up, they make lazy highlights from random slow motion film reels they dont even take time to comb through a players career to find actual career highlight moments caught on film - and they dont even correct simple shyt like brightness and contrast

yeah, the color video looks awful

like I said, they just dont care. The era they disrespect the most is probably the 1970s.

The NBA pretends like anything from 1972-1979 did not happen.

edit: and stuff from the Celtics/Lakers golden age period was dinosaur basketball
