On the day of the late Eddie Guerrero's birthday, Chavo Guerrero, Sr. (a/k/a Chavo Classic) took to Twitter to slam the late grappler's widow, Vickie.

After Vickie tweeted messages Tuesday remembering Eddie on what would have been his 45th birthday, the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion wrote to her, "tell ur followers how u cut off the grandmother of ur children with a letter after eddie passed her son..."

Guerrero, Sr. has repeatedly stated in interviews that Vickie separated herself from his family after Eddie passed away in 2005.

Vickie acknowledged his remarks, stating to her followers, "Anything to do with @chavoclassic has no importance to me or ever has. @mexwarrior (Chavo Guerrero Jr.) is respected and loved by my daughters and I."

Guerrero, Sr. wrote back, "Then I will write what I want if u don't like don't read as far as the injection guerrero the JUdge is in heaven."

Vickie later deleted her remark, and stated in response to a fan telling them to not fight, "i cant believe my valuable time got caught up with nonsense,,,I'm FREE....enough said. #llessonslearned."

That "I'm Free" comment seems kind of disrespectful
Is Vickie Latina? I know she had to put food on the table after Eddie passed but I felt some kind of way when she was out there not long after, she generates great heat but kind of sucks... but oh well..For some reason I believe Chavo Sr

How is it disrespectful? She is free. She's a person.

Nobody knows the REAL relationship she had with Eddie except for those two.

Wrestling fans are on some, "she should still be mourning and never get over Eddie" type stuff.

If Chavo Jr has no problem with her but Sr does, then that's probably a personal problem just b/w those two.

From what I've seen of Vickie, like when she accepted Eddie's Hall of Fame induction, she seems like a good, genuine and respectable person to me. WWE gave her a chance at a new career based on their appreciation of Eddie, and she took that chance and hit it out of the park. NOBODY saw that coming. You can only respect that.

Every family has disagreements and differences. Looks to me like Chavo Classic is the one who chose to make their differences public on Twitter. Not exactly a mature approach.

I get that, I didnt say that she shouldn't move on but like you said, maybe the relationship wasn't great..but she chose to stay in it... guess that was a smart move because look were she is today. IIRC, Hector Guerrero(TNA commentator) said the same thing about Vickie distancing herself etc after Eddie died.

i didnt say you specifically, but I get that vibe from internet wrestling fans. Like, "she should remain loyal and faithful to Eddie until she dies":comeon:

Maybe she never got along with his family to begin with, and once he died, then she felt no need to be connected with them.

She should have changed her name then and not accepted the opportunity that WWE gave her..I'm sure she could have found work elsewhere if she really wanted nothing to do with them and they were really that bad.

It sucks if she is keeping the kids from their grandparents because it isn't their fault...I hope Chavo Sr is messy and posts excerpts from the letter on twitter lol

I don't agree with that at all.

He was her husband. He was her family. His old man sounds like a cranky ass.

Who goes off like that publicly on a day of all days? Even if he has a legitimate bone to pick with Vickie, some shyt stays private, especially when he has grandkids he seems to want to repair a relationship with. You don't do that shyt by attacking their moms on Twitter on their dead daddy's birthday. :wow:

You're right but not everyone has that logic. Their beef must be something super deep for him to go off, especially on that day.

If ya'll read Eddie's book you'd know he did NOT get along with Chavo Sr., who is his older brother.

He and Chavo Jr. got along fine. Chavo Sr. is an a$$hole

Still have no idea what Chavo Classic means by "the injection guerrero". :wtf:

I'm thinking it was a spelling mistake. I think in proper grammar it meant to be read as: "Then I will write what I want. If you don't like, don't read. As far as the injunction, Guerrero the Judge is in heaven."

Could be wrong though.

I think Vickie's "I'm free" really just had to do with the family on Eddie's side that she didn't get along with, not Eddie himself.
