Salute that breh doing things to improve his community. Regardless of the way one feels about his music, can't front on his love for his folks. Hope his peers taking notice and give back. Everybody takes from us and rarely ever gives back so we gotta do it ourselves.

A better strategy would be maybe to take measures to prevent/reduce crime (better gun laws, raising the minimum wage to what it should actually be based on inflation/work ethic, creating opportunities so ppl don't have to fall into poverty and crime) instead of teaching ppl how to react after an act of violence has already happened?

One can sit on the internet and drop theoretical stuff or go out and do realistic stuff. You could also say, “they shouldn’t do a stop the violence movement, just teach people how to be mit and Stanford engineers”. This is Vic Mensa, not Malcom, not a senator, a billionaire or god for that matter.
