to be revived? vegeta would be KING of planet vegeta and goku would be a low level, but powerful saiyan...why wouldn't vegeta be equally as bent on reviving planet vegeta as he was revenge?
Vegeta always wanted to wish for immortality right? Why didn't he [or GOKU] wish for planet vegeta?

BC Toriyama is a hack like @loyola llothta said.
It's made clear in the series that neither Goku nor Vegeta gave a shyt about the dead Saiyans. Anyway, why even bother wasting a wish on such a thing? They murdered and destroyed everything in their path. Even Goku claims that they died the way they did because of their actions when they were alive.

We talking about the same guy who murked off Nappa? He would've murdered them himself after seeing how far behind they are in strength. Plus, how is everyone missing that bringing back the planet and all its inhabitants would mean King Vegeta would be back also, making strong ass Vegeta second fiddle to his father.
