So the context. He's interviewing this dude named King Randle. Not familiar with bro but after hearing this interview, I like what he's doing to mentor Black boys. But Van Latham surprised me with his statement. You can hear the actual quote 1:15 49 mark.
So my question is, do you agree with Van? If a conservative, who is doing things in the Black community to help Black people (ie open a school specifically for Black boys). Can you find common ground to support that person in that area? Does helping Black people coming before political affiliation. Or does that person being on the opposite side automatically cause you to oppose them. Even if they are doing good things. Sorta like the drug dealer who hands out turkeys on Thanksgiving. Is that how you view them? Or is Van right. If you can't find common groud, you don't truly love Black people?
