Pretty af.
I know that you have until your 26 to claim it so you need to start now. Once you get it going you can have it for 48 months.

You cannot get ch 35 automatically like that, you can only get ch 35 if your pops was killed in the military. Ch 35 and 33 are the only benefits that can be rolled over to children, and ch 33 is out the picture in the case of your father because he served so long ago..

u can get 35 also if dad fully disabled veteran at 100% too from va. its not the same as gi bill though they give u the money up front and u take it too the school and get a monthly payment.

gi bill for dependents work depends on when u got out of the army and how long of service u did to qualify for the transfer

with me having 100% from va. va pays for my wife school. also with me being a texas resident i can use the hazlewood act and each dependent gets 150 hrs of free school tuition with certain schools qualifying for it. u pay for ur own books and u dont get a monthly payment they just pay tuition

only reason i couldnt give her gi bill cuz their was a 2 yr gap where if u got out the transfer wasnt eligable which i thought was fukking stupid :snoop:
